Ultimate Technology Corporation, a leading provider of open system Point-of-Service (POS) hardware solutions and services, has announced that Kerasotes Theatres, one of the industry�s premier motion picture companies, has chosen the UltimaTouch� 1800 Series POS Touch Workstation as the standard for deployment in their theatre ticketing counters. The 1800�s sleek, durable design and bright, 15� touch screen make it ideal for a theatre ticketing environment. The UltimaTouch� platform is field serviceable due to a hinged design that allows fast and easy access to internal components while insuring that downtime is minimal. Kerasotes is using the 1800 with an Intel Celeron� processor, Microsoft Windows 2000, and integrated customer display.

Other Features of the New 1800

The UltimaTouch� 1800 incorporates a bright 15" touch screen that uses the latest resistive touch screen technology and state of the art electronics in a durable, spill resistant outer case. Extensive input/output ports include 4 serial and 5 USB connections as well as a LAN port and a 24V cash drawer port. Options include an internal CD-ROM drive, a 3-track MSR, integrated speakers and an integrated customer display. Emerging technologies such as fingerprint recognition and wireless communication are also available options.
