Kerasotes Theatres Selects Ultimate Technology for Their Ticketing Kiosk Solution

Rochester, NY – May 19, 2006 Ultimate Technology Corporation, a leading provider of open system point-of-service (POS) hardware solutions and services, announced today that Kerasotes Theatres, one of the industry’s premier motion picture companies, has selected the KwikUse™ Kiosk solution for their theatre venues. The kiosk ticketing solution initially will be used by theatre goers to print tickets originally purchased via the internet or to directly purchase tickets.

Kerasotes currently has a number of other Ultimate Technology point of service solutions in use throughout their theatres. For their concession counters they utilize the PDM 3500 keyboard terminals, at their ticketing counters the 1800 Series UltimaTouch™ all-in-one touch screen POS systems are in use, and now the KwikUse™ self-service ticketing kiosk solution is the latest offering from Ultimate Technology to expand Kerasotes’ customer focused service capabilities.

The KwikUse™ kiosk solution provided by Ultimate Technology is a comprehensive solution that includes integration of multiple component options, technical support and consultation, and a maintenance program. Kerasotes plans to deploy 40 to 50 kiosk units in their theatres commencing in May 2006.

The KwikUse™ Kiosk is a general purpose kiosk that can be wall-mounted or installed as a freestanding unit. The networked kiosks are configured with proven POS retail components designed for the harsh demands of the retail market resulting in longer life expectancy. The KwikUse™ Kiosk is also ETL listed for conformance to UL60950 for safety of IT equipment. With two front-panel access doors (keyed) all kiosk components are easily and quickly serviceable including the ability for store personnel to replenish paper supplies as needed. An internal power management system eliminates the need for power strips and installs quickly with one power plug to the wall.
