Ultimate Technology Announces Launch of KwikUse™ Kiosk Solution to Retailers

Rochester, NY � May 19, 2006 - Ultimate Technology Corporation, a leading provider of open system point-of-service (POS) hardware solutions and services, is pleased to announce their entry into the self-service technology market with the launch of its KwikUse� Kiosk product line. As retailers continue to look for ways to differentiate themselves and as customers demand more convenient services from the places they shop, self service technology and specifically kiosks have come to the forefront as a viable option to meet these challenges. Ultimate Technology will be displaying their KwikUse� Kiosk solution in Booth #1116, during the Retail Systems 2006 Expo in McCormick Place, Chicago, May 22-24. General product availability for the KwikUse� Kiosk is planned for the third quarter of 2006.

The KwikUse� Kiosk product line is adaptable to a variety of transaction based applications including gift registry, ticketing, and deli to name a few of the customer-focused activities today�s competitive retail world demands. All of Ultimate Technology�s self-service solutions utilize retail hardened POS components and are available with a variety of mounting options including pedestal, wall and counter mounts to suit the customer�s business location and retail application needs.

Since serviceability is critical to any technology deployed in the demanding retail environment, the KwikUse� Kiosk features two front key-lock doors providing access to system components by authorized personnel. All internal components are easily swapped making service calls quick and efficient. An internal power management system eliminates the need for power strips and installs quickly with one plug to the wall. Of significant importance, the KwikUse� Kiosk is also ETL listed for conformance to UL60950 for safety of IT equipment. In addition, store personnel can easily replenish printer paper supplies as needed.

Designed to address multiple in-store applications, the KwikUse� Kiosk is available with an array of configuration options including Intel Celeron or P4 technology, 15�or 17� LCD touch screen (resistive or capacitive), a variety of printer choices (from 4� to an 8.5�), omni-directional or single line barcode scanners, two or three track MSR�s, a durable keyboard, speakers and a presence sensor.
