Ultimate Technology announces the acquisition of Purple Cactus Technologies

Repositions Company as a retail automation solution provider of software, hardware and professional services.

October 9, 2007, Rochester, NY – Ultimate Technology Corporation has completed the acquisition of Purple Cactus Technologies, a Scottsdale, Arizona provider of multi-channel retail automation software. Founded in 2001, Purple Cactus Technologies designs, develops, implements and supports enterprise level retail management solutions to over 2,500 retail users. Purple Cactus applications span the full enterprise retail management cycle including POS and Merchandising, CRM, Purchasing, Inventory, Warehouse, Open to Buy Planning, Order Fulfillment and Sales Reporting.
