UTC RETAIL Releases ReadySTORE SCO, providing retailers with customer self-checkout capabilities
Rochester, NY, January 11, 2022: UTC RETAIL, a full-service provider of retail solutions to the specialty retail marketplace, including software, hardware, and professional services, announces the formal release of ReadySTORE SCO, their customer self-checkout application. The ReadySTORE Suite of POS Applications now includes self-service checkout, giving retailers a means of providing their customers with a quick, easy, unassisted, scan-pay-go sales checkout. This self-checkout solution allows retail customers, who are purchasing a smaller number of items, a way to manage their own self-checkout and avoid waiting in longer lines at fixed registers where customers or buying more items, or ones needed store associate assistance and require a longer checkout process.

When packaged with the K7100 self-service kiosk system UTC RETAIL can offer retailers a turnkey self-checkout solution. It has been designed to consider best practices for the specialty retail environment and transaction flow. Additionally, due to it’s modern, web-based architecture, ReadySTORE SCO is available on ReadyCLOUD, UTC RETAIL’s cloud hosting service, allowing the application to be hosted and managed in a secure, off premise cloud environment. ReadySTORE SCO was built to accommodate a very fast and easy deployment requirement.
